Hidden Valley Campground



Hidden Valley Campground is a little haven of paradise, nestled alongside the Saugeen River. Tucked in amongst gently rolling farmlands and lush forests, a fifty acre sanctuary of natural beauty and recreation awaits. Spacious treed and open campsites, surrounded by forest, river, sky and large groomed lawn areas offer a respite for those wanting a place to kick back, relax and enjoy some time away. Whether you are looking for a night, a weekend or longer, we invite you to come join us in this tranquil setting for a time of relaxation, rejuvenation and fun. Hidden Valley Campground offers a variety of camping amenities from unserviced tenting sites, serviced campsites along the river, indoor sleeping rooms and a self-contained cottage.

PUBLIC CAMPING:

Serviced Campsites:

25 sites suitable for trailers, motor homes, tent trailers, or tents.

Tenting Campsites:

A large secluded site along the river backed by forest, accommodates up to 5 tents, and an open field can accommodate multiple tents (unserviced)

Riverside Rooms:

Overlooking the river, five private side by side lockable rooms with a variety of sleeping arrangements (twin, double and queen beds).
Each room accommodates 2 people. Enjoy the morning sunshine overlooking
Saugeen River from the wicker seating on the shared covered porch.

Public Washrooms with hot showers, potable water, a dumping station.

The Cottage:

In a forested setting looking out over the campground, enjoy the privacy of this self-contained 2 bedroom cottage that accommodates 5 people. The full size kitchen is well appointed and the living room has comfortable seating with a small electric fireplace space heater to warm up those chilly evenings. The bathroom has a shower. Off the dining room step out the glass sliding doors to a back deck with a patio table and chairs. The front patio has a BBQ and in the evening gather around a campfire.

CAMP GROUPS:

As well as public camping, HVC has the facilities and services to accommodate large camp groups of 20 to 80 campers. We invite community groups; church, school, child and youth programs, families, and more, for overnight camp or retreat experiences. Stay for a weekend, a week or a month.
8 Bunk Cabins (each cabin sleeps 10) in a forested setting
2 separate washrooms with hot showers

Dining Hall with a fully equipped commercial kitchen, two washrooms
Grice Hall – meeting space with folding tables, fireside lounge and recreational games
Sheltered outside picnic area seats 80 people.
Rent the above facilities for your exclusive use. Bring your own staff or for an additional fee request HVC staff to provide meals for your group. Rent canoes, kayaks and river tubes. Please note that use of the campground outside recreational areas are shared spaces with our guests at public campsites
